Director, Global Communications — Mar 2022 – Present — Seattle, WA

  • Built and scaled Airbnb’s first dedicated Host Communications organization, establishing the strategy, operating model, governance, community engagement, and communications infrastructure serving nearly 6 million hosts worldwide.
  • Own global communications strategy and go-to-market execution across email, push, in-product, web, community, and other host-facing channels, partnering across Product, Marketing, Policy, Operations, Community Engagement, and regional teams.
  • Drive a data- and AI-enabled communications engine that uses host lifecycle, market, product adoption, and eligibility to deliver more relevant communications, drive host action, and improve business results.

  • Led content planning, coordination, and editorial review across written content, raising quality, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Operationalized a newsroom-style content engine, significantly reducing production time and creating a more scalable editorial model.
